Ms. Clark
Hello and welcome to my page! A little bit about me.... I have been an educator for 25 years and have been fortunate to teach many different age groups with many different ability levels. I started as a Recreational Therapist in Mississippi for three years at a residential facility for severely mentally and physically challenged adults. After working in the residential setting, I moved to the public school system where I taught high school resource, GED Prep, and Collaborative English for six years in Oxford, Mississippi. I was also the head volleyball coach and assistant basketball coach for three of my six years at Oxford High School. I gave up coaching to become a mom but have always been involved with athletics. I moved back home to Middle Tennessee where I taught four years of Resource Language Arts and Mathematics at the Elementary level. My last stop was 12 years ago when I moved to Austin. I spent my first 11 years at Westlake High School. While at Westlake, I had several different teaching assignments including the DAEP teacher, Modified Algebra I, Geometry and Personal Finance. I have also worked with the Behavior Support Team, Collaborative BIM teacher, served as the Student Support Team Coordinator, and the Credit Recovery Teacher. Last year I came to Hill Country Middle School. I am currently the RTI Math and Study Skills teacher. I grew up in Franklin TN and lived in the South all of my life. I have two children, a daughter that jusst graduated from Westlake and a son in 7th grade here at HCMS. I am very excited to start my second year at HCMS! We have a wonderful family here and I am so blessed to be a part of this school!
